Organization History and Mission

Green energy options have been around for a long time. However, not much attention has been given to it because it was much cheaper to set up a conventional power plant.

At present, the costs of setting up a solar, hydroelectric, wind, or geothermal power plant may still be more expensive than conventional energy options. But, an increasing awareness of environmental needs led people to make greener choices.

In addition to that, many working environmental power plants have shown that it is possible to make more money from green energy. Some plants even found that they are able to make back their investment money in as little as two or three years. That’s definitely a good investment. It is also a good way to lower monthly bills.

One important mission that should be taken up by any government or institution is seeing an increase in the use of renewable energy the world over. Too many of the world’s economies are reliant on conventional sources of energy, most of which are far from being environmentally friendly.

A majority of the power plants found across the world either burn coal or use up fossil fuel. These plants not only deplete our environmental resources, it also spews out polluting carbon dioxide gases into the air. In addition to fossil fuel burning power plants, there are also those that make use of nuclear energy. This type of energy may indeed be cost effective, but they also produce by-waste that when not properly disposed of can damage the environment.

Solar, wind, hydroelectric, and geothermal energy are cleaner options. They will also be much cheaper to run. Most of these green energy producers are also able to gain back their investments in as little as 2 years after the Plant started operations. This also means a decrease in electric bills for the general public.
